John Moran

    John J. Moran is the Principal of Moran Financial Services, LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. He directs all phases of the mortgage banking, including underwriting, feasibility analysis, appraisal, lease review, loan placement, and loan closing.

   John's background provides him with a unique depth of experience, starting with over ten years institutional lending with two major life insurance companies, followed by over twenty years background in real estate development and mortgage banking. His experience and underwriting background in commercial real estate in major markets from the east to the west coast as an institutional investor/lender combined with hands-on development experience as managing general partner, gives him an understanding of the transaction from all perspectives.

   John is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Finance, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business & Public Administration. He currently holds a Nevada Real Estate Broker License (and formerly held a Texas Real Estate Sales Broker's License) and also holds a Nevada Real Estate Mortgage Company License.

   John is currently a member of the Mortgage Bankers of America (National Membership), Commercial Marketing Group, Nevada Development Authority, and is a CCIM support affiliate. He has previously been a member of NAIOP, Southern Nevada Multi-Housing Association, and was a founding member of the Chartered Realty Investor Society. He has previously served as a UNLV Advisory Committee Member for the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies, and a Commercial Real Estate Financial consultant to Nevada Test Site Development Corporation through Restrepo Consulting Group, LLC.
